Ownership Benefits and Shared Ranch Amenities

Equal Partnership in the Ranch

Each owner has a 1/27 ownership share of the ranch and a voice in the management and operations of the Ranch through the Ranch Owners Association. The owners share ownership of the approximate 350 Red Angus cattle and calves on the Ranch. Proceeds from the sale of the grass-finished beef and other ranch foods is used to offset operational costs of the Ranch.

The owners have access to ranch grown foods including eggs, produce and vegetables as available and each owner receives a quarter (approximately 110 pounds) of grass finished beef each year.

Ranch Ownership Without the Work

A primary benefit of ownership at Maytag Mountain Ranch is the ability to be part of a working ranch. Two full-time Ranch Managers and a seasonal ranch hand and gardener manage and operate the Ranch. The two managers live on the ranch year round, housed in individual caretaker homes and report to the Ranch Owners Association.
