Manager's Quarters

A primary benefit of ownership at Maytag Mountain Ranch is the ability to be part of a working cattle ranch. Two full-time ranch managers and a seasonal ranch hand and gardener manage and operate the Ranch. The two managers live on the ranch year round, housed in individual caretaker homes and report to the Ranch Owners Association. The Managers and staff are responsible for the following:

  • Feeding the cattle
  • Horses and small ranch animals
  • Maintaining the health of the animals
  • Supplying and cleaning the barn
  • Moving cattle
  • Building and mending fences
  • Planting and tending the gardens
  • Conducting ranch maintenance and administration
