ORGANIC GARDEN AND ORCHARD

Gardeners can take advantage of the Ranch's organic permaculture garden, maintained by a professional gardener, but available to our owners. Totaling one acre, no herbicides, pesticides or artificial fertilizers are used in the gardens, yet it reaps a bounty of fruit, berries, grapes and produce.

Owners can also learn bee keeping from Ranch managers who attend to the Ranch bees that pollinate the flowers and plants on the Ranch and produce about 5 gallons of honey each year. Or owners can help with the free-range chicken clutch, which provides free-range eggs year round. Owners reap the bounty of all our ranch-grown foods, including eggs, produce and vegetables, and a quarter (approximately 110 pounds) of grass-finished beef each year.
