Excellent Value! We are priced 15% lower than the same cuts at supermarket prices. We usually have availability starting in June and running through October.
Pricing. A quarter side of beef usually weighs about 105-110 pounds and costs about $480, depending on the size of the animal, and will use about 3 to 4 cubic feet of freezer space. Average weight for a half side of beef is 215 pounds or approximately $965.
Delivery. Our customers can pick up their beef at Maytag Mountain Ranch or at the processor. We process in Colorado Springs at USDA inspected facilities. The beef is frozen "rock hard" and packed in cardboard boxes for easy pickup and transporting. We occasionally deliver to customers (additional fees will apply).
Next Delivery Date. Maytag Mountain Ranch Grass Finished Beef is usually available starting in June and running through October. We are currently taking orders for 2008. Customers will be notified when product is ready. After October please call to see if there are any quarters available.
Check the chart below for quarter-side average cuts and weights pricing. Larger quantities of beef in half-side and whole are available as well. Price is $4.75 a pound.
